About The Position

Thermo Systems is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Intern to support ongoing building automation and controls projects within mission critical/data center environments. This internship is an excellent opportunity for Skill Bridge Candidates, students or individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in: Building Management Systems (BMS) HVAC controls, Electrical and controls troubleshooting, Data center infrastructure, Commissioning and startup activities, and Construction and industrial automation environments.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in: Electrical Technology, HVAC, Instrumentation & Controls, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Systems, Or related technical field
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and hand tools
• Strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced field environment
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with HVAC systems or controls
• Exposure to electrical diagrams or schematics
• OSHA 10 certification
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Assist Controls Technicians and Project Teams with installation, checkout, and startup activities
• Support point-to-point verification and system testing
• Help troubleshoot control panels, sensors, and field devices
• Assist with documentation, redlines, and project closeout activities
• Participate in field walks, coordination meetings, and safety activities
• Learn BMS software platforms, graphics, and system integration concepts
• Support commissioning and operational readiness activities
