About The Position

As a Control System Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and verification of non-safety industrial control systems for greenfield and brownfield nuclear power plant projects across the world. You will report to the GOS Manager; Control and Information System Engineering and be located at the Cranberry, PA facility. This is a hybrid role based in Cranberry. Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 0 + years of engineering experience in industrial control systems or a related technical field.
  • Exposure to PLC, DCS, or industrial automation platforms through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
  • 0 + years of experience with engineering documentation such as schematics, P&IDs, or system diagrams.
  • Follow established procedures, work in a team environment, and manage assigned tasks with guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Help design and implement industrial control system solutions following customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Help develop control logic, configuration, and HMI functionality using standard industrial control system platforms and engineering tools.
  • Support the specification and integration of control system components, which may include controllers, IO, networks, power distribution, and interfaces.
  • Perform assigned engineering tasks under the direction of more senior engineers.
  • Help with engineering analyses such as basic calculations, reviews, or assessments as assigned.
  • Support requirements interpretation and traceability activities within the control systems discipline.
  • Prepare and update engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications following established procedures and standards.
  • Help maintain organized and accurate project documentation throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Support verification and validation activities, including development of test documentation, factory acceptance testing, and system level testing activities.
  • Participate in testing activities by implementing defined test procedures and documenting results under guidance.
  • Work with hardware, software, functional design, and testing team members in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Learn and apply established engineering processes and best practices within the control systems discipline.
  • Seek feedback and guidance to build technical capability and professional engineering judgment.
