Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Less than three years of relevant professional experience
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles and control systems
Exposure to or ability to learn SCADA/EMS systems, PLCs, and RTUs
Familiarity with or willingness to learn Linux/Unix environments and scripting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and under supervision

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with control systems, SCADA/EMS environments, or industrial systems is beneficial, but not required.
Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation, maintenance, and operation of control systems across system dispatch and generation facilities.
Work with SCADA/EMS systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and remote terminal units (RTUs), helping ensure reliable and secure system performance.
Assist with developing, modifying, and maintaining control system applications.
Support real-time system monitoring.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Collaborate with engineers, dispatchers, electricians, and other stakeholders to support system operations, testing, and data collection.
Contribute to system reporting and forecasting by ensuring data accuracy and reliability within system databases and historians.
Gain hands-on experience and developing the technical skills needed to support critical infrastructure systems.
