About The Position

The Control System Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and manipulating current installed BAS programs. This role involves working closely with controls installations and the start-up/termination of equipment and programs. The technician will also communicate efficiently with building owners, end users, and general contractors, and must be able to work effectively in a team environment. The company serves clients in Healthcare, Commercial, Education, and Construction Service sectors, specializing in Building Automation, Hardware, Sensors, Energy Reporting, and Integrations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
  • Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
  • Knowledge of controls programming and experience rewriting sequences
  • Fundamental understanding of installing and testing building automation systems
  • Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point to point check outs
