About The Position

We are seeking a Control Room Operator to remotely monitor oil and gas production equipment from our control center in McCook, TX. This is a night shift, office-based position responsible for monitoring compressors, production equipment, and field operations through well monitoring software.

Requirements

• Comfortable working night shifts on a consistent schedule.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn monitoring software quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and respond to abnormal operating conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with field personnel.
• Ability to remain focused while monitoring multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working night shifts on a consistent schedule.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in oil and gas operations, production, control room operations, SCADA, or lease operations preferred.
• Experience using well monitoring or SCADA software (such as Cygnet) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compressors, production equipment, and well sites remotely using well monitoring software.
• Continuously observe system performance and identify abnormal operating conditions or equipment alarms.
• Respond to alarms by assessing the situation and dispatching Lease Operators to the appropriate field location.
• Maintain accurate records of alarms, equipment status, operator notifications, and operational events.
• Coordinate with Lease Operators and operations personnel to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.
• Escalate critical equipment failures or production concerns according to established procedures.
• Monitor multiple assets simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow company safety, operational, and communication procedures at all times.
• Provide shift handoff updates to ensure continuity between operators.
