Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electrical assembly processes.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Basic understanding of electrical drawings and willingness to develop schematic interpretation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn from experienced team members.
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks while collaborating effectively with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school, vocational training, or coursework in electrical technology is preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or electrical experience.
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with electrical components and industrial control panels.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and smaller electrical components using layout drawings and work instructions.
  • Assist with building crates and preparing completed panels for shipment.
  • Accurately label panels and electrical equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret point-to-point drawings and develop the ability to understand wiring schematics with guidance.
  • Safely operate hand tools and measuring devices, including tape measures, to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced technicians while building the skills needed to perform tasks with increasing independence.
