Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electrical assembly processes.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Basic understanding of electrical drawings and willingness to develop schematic interpretation skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn from experienced team members.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks while collaborating effectively with others.

Nice To Haves

Technical school, vocational training, or coursework in electrical technology is preferred.
Previous manufacturing, assembly, or electrical experience.
Experience using basic hand and power tools.
Familiarity with electrical components and industrial control panels.

Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and smaller electrical components using layout drawings and work instructions.
Assist with building crates and preparing completed panels for shipment.
Accurately label panels and electrical equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret point-to-point drawings and develop the ability to understand wiring schematics with guidance.
Safely operate hand tools and measuring devices, including tape measures, to ensure accurate assembly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with experienced technicians while building the skills needed to perform tasks with increasing independence.
