About The Position

Uline is hiring a Control Mechanic for its Connecticut facility in Plainfield. The role maintains warehouse automated conveyors and systems and performs preventive maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts. The mechanic works with Engineering, Warehouse Administration, Facilities, and Operations teams to keep equipment running effectively; assists with parts management, inspections, repairs, and remote troubleshooting; and applies hands-on expertise across material handling systems. The role is on-site and includes travel two to three times per year to support projects at Uline branches across North America. New hires receive a $5,000 bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of warehouse maintenance-related experience.
Ability to work independently and with a team, and to train others.
Electrical and mechanical skills, with experience in PC and/or PLC control packages.
Willingness to travel two to three times per year to support projects at Uline branches across North America.
