About The Position

Uline, a family-owned company, is North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials with over 9,800 employees across 14 locations. Uline is expanding its operations in Connecticut and is seeking a Control Mechanic to maintain and monitor warehouse automated conveyors and systems. This role involves completing preventative maintenance and repairs on various warehouse equipment, including forklifts. The Control Mechanic will collaborate closely with Engineering, Warehouse Administration, Facilities, and Operational teams to ensure equipment runs effectively. The position also includes assisting with parts management, inspections, repairs, and remote troubleshooting, applying hands-on expertise across a range of material handling systems. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of warehouse maintenance-related experience.
Ability to work independently, with a team and train others.
Electrical and mechanical skills with experience in PC and / or PLC control packages.
Willingness to travel 2 - 3 times per year to support projects at Uline branches across North America.

Trade school or equivalent preferred.
