About The Position

You will be the Control Law Engineer - Level 4 for the Mission Systems Roadmaps (MSR) Demonstrations Team which is responsible for advancing cutting‑edge technologies within Skunk Works mission processing environments. As the Control Law Engineer - Level 4 you will be responsible for translating mission requirements into robust software solutions that enable rapid prototyping and integration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college in Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM discipline
Experience with MATLAB and Simulink software development
Knowledge of flight control algorithms, guidance, navigation, and control (GNC)
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

Active Secret Government Security Clearance
Experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD concepts
Experience with C, C++, Java, or a related language
Experience with software integration conducted with software from multiple different teams
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including MS TEAMS
Demonstrable work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Responsibilities

Design, develop, prototype, integrate, and test middleware and software applications for mission systems.
Solve complex middleware challenges with a focus on commonality and reusability.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements through sustainment.
Collaborate with vehicle mission systems, internal software teams, cross‑functional stakeholders, and external customers.
Contribute to technology maturation for transition to program implementation.
