About The Position

We are seeking a Control Engineer for a contract role in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Rockwell PLC SCADA development and have experience with Cognex/Keyence vision systems. Previous experience writing code in Ladder, SCL, FBD, and Graph, along with validation experience, is required. The role requires 10-13 years of overall experience.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley Logix)
• 7+ years of HMI/SCADA design experience (FactoryTalk View)
• Knowledge of common industrial networks (EtherNet/IP)
• Knowledge of VFDs and common system interfaces
• Ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Ability to read logic diagrams.
• Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Team player who can adapt well to engineering standards
• Expert in Rockwell PLC SCADA development
• Cognex/Keyence vision experience
• Previous experience writing code in Ladder, SCL, FBD, and Graph
• Validation experience
• 10-13 years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read Process & Instrumentation Drawings
• Ability to diagram using CAD software
• Low-voltage electrical design & layout

Responsibilities
