About The Position

As a Peebles Control Console Tech, you will provide support in areas of engine and test cell hardware / software configuration under the leadership of appropriate staff or project personnel. Ensure that control room display of data and safety limit annunciation is correct and in accordance with test requirements. Participate in test planning efforts and support test in areas of the console, Fadec Monitoring System (FMS), Display Adjustment Panel (DAP) and Portable Data Loader (PDL) operation. Maintain required test cell and engine hardware / software documentation. Maintain effective communications with customers, support organizations, and team members. Investigate, diagnose and correct instrumentation and system malfunctions. Assist maintenance and engineering organizations in the maintenance and repair of test facilities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Technical Discipline from an accredited school or institution (Or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing or equivalent quality training)
  • Shift flexibility and availability for all available shifts. Shifts are subject to change according to business needs
  • Ability and willingness to work a reasonable expectation of overtime
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on occasion

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience with hardware / software of control consoles and associated equipment (i.e. Ladder Logic)
  • Basic software programming experience
  • Some knowledge of engine test facilities and associated equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot faulty circuits and/or instrumentation
