About The Position

FanSided is looking to add new contributors to join their team at KC Kingdom, a site dedicated to Kansas City-area sports. They are looking for knowledgeable fans to help build their voice around the following fandoms: Kansas Jayhawks (MBB, NCAAFB), Sporting KC, KC Current, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas City Chiefs. The Contributor program is a great way for aspiring writers to get experience creating content on sports, entertainment, lifestyles, and more. FanSided provides a first-class platform, a growing audience, and the support to learn and expand. Contributors are given the flexibility to write on the topics they are passionate about while doing so on a schedule that fits their daily lives. They are free to write as often as they wish. Requirements

• Knowledgeable fans of Kansas Jayhawks (MBB, NCAAFB), Sporting KC, KC Current, Kansas City Royals, or Kansas City Chiefs.

• Ability to write on topics they are passionate about.
• Ability to write on a schedule that fits their daily lives.
• Willingness to pitch topic ideas before writing.
• Willingness to explore their voices as writers and try new things.

Responsibilities

• Write a minimum of one (1) article per calendar month.
• Pitch topic ideas before writing to ensure that there is no conflict with similar articles being submitted by other users.
• Fully explore their voices as writers and try new things with their writing.
