About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Contracts Specialist Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). This role supports the full lifecycle of contract administration for complex government and commercial programs, including contract negotiation, compliance with federal requirements, proposal development, cost analysis, and risk mitigation. The position helps ensure that contracts are executed on time and in compliance with applicable requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 8 years of contracting, subcontracting, and/or procurement experience.
Demonstrated expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance requirements.
Proven track record managing complex procurement actions and negotiations.
Must have or obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance within 60 days of hire; U.S. citizenship is required.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Space Force or DoD programs.
Advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other contractual documents.
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and 2 CFR 200 requirements for federal contracts.
Conduct contract price analysis.
Support negotiations with partners and vendors on terms, conditions, and pricing.
Support proposal efforts, including risk assessment and contractor document collection.
Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.
Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to align contract strategies with project objectives.
