About The Position

HST Pathways is seeking a highly-motivated, proactive contracts manager to join our team to handle a wide variety of contract templates across the full contract lifecycle: from tender development through project execution and closeout. The right person for this position must be a team player who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is able to balance legal risk with business objectives. The role includes a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts (e.g. SaaS, NDA, etc.) to managing our contracts management system. We are looking for someone who is always looking for ways to make us better, including automating and implementing scalable contracting processes, such as templates and playbooks.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload and competing priorities
  • Experience with contract management system: bonus points for Ironclad experience
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Experience and knowledge of best practices for legal department organization and contract management
  • Ability to provide high-quality product in a timely manner with minimal errors
  • Efficient, effective, and well organized
  • Respectful, open, collaborative, and transparent interpersonal skills, teamwork oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of relevant professional legal experience, including prior in-house or contract experience

Responsibilities

  • Review, revise, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts including SaaS agreements, SOWs, NDAs, etc.
  • Help the legal team scale to support the Company’s growth by implementing systems, automation, processes, and procedures to support the contracting function
  • Manage our automated contracts management system, Ironclad, to ensure proper approvals are received and we have reliable data regarding contract status, volume, processing times, and other operational metrics
  • Manage and update our library of templates, clauses, and other relevant information
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other internal stakeholders in connection with all of the foregoing
  • Assist with other general administrative and legal projects as needed
