Contracts Manager

About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting the legal department and staff attorneys related to all corporate legal matters. Areas of responsibility include evaluating legal/contractual documents for compliance with terms and conditions, legal correspondence with Loomis customers, legal evaluations, litigation, and monitoring sensitive risk/financial-related data for trending.

Requirements

  • College degree with paralegal experience in handling corporate legal work, including real estate, contract negotiation, litigation, employment preferred.
  • Minimum of five years paralegal or contracts manager experience required.
  • Excellent technical skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
  • Experience in an environment that requires multitasking and strong organizational skills.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in either the transportation or financial services industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Loomis attorneys in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting service agreements, vendor agreements, real estate agreements, and other cash management agreements.
  • Ensure contract terms and conditions meet the company’s contracting requirements.
  • Frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, landlords, and others, along with external counsel.
  • Route legal notices and correspondence to the appropriate internal departments.
  • Limited contract review, revision, and redlining (depending on experience).
  • Perform document and contract management.
  • Process contract amendments.
  • Litigation support.
  • Support negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements.
  • Respond to various legal requests from sales teams.
  • Support research regarding legal contracting and contract management tools.
  • Respond to internal requests for contractual templates.
  • Assist with contract dispute tracking and analysis.
  • Compliance.
  • Support review and processing of legal invoices.
  • Support with departmental project audits.
  • Auditing petty cash (receipting process).
  • Licensing issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
