About The Position

At Teledyne FLIR OEM, you will lead the contracts function supporting advanced technologies for aerospace, defense, and high-performance commercial applications. As Director of Contracts, you will shape contract strategy, drive compliance, and partner with executive leadership to enable business growth while minimizing risk. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will build strong cross-functional relationships and develop a high-performing contracts team.

Knowledge of FAR and DFARS compliance
Extensive experience managing complex government and commercial contracts and teams
10+ years of contracts experience, including government contracting
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field – required

Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of U.S. government and commercial contracts, from proposal through closeout
Serve as the senior contractual interface with U.S. Government contracting officers, prime contractors, and commercial customers on complex or high-risk matters.
Direct negotiations and execution of complex agreements, including long-term and confidentiality agreements
Advise executive leadership on contractual strategy, obligations, and risk mitigation
Review solicitations to identify key requirements, risks, and deliverables
Partner with finance, legal, and program teams on pricing and contract strategy
Oversee administration of prime contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements
Ensure compliance with internal policy and regulatory requirements
Support audits and maintain contract documentation and reporting
Drive process improvements, standardization, and contract governance
Lead, mentor, and develop contracts staff
