About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contracts Clerk with experience in automotive sales contracts to join our team at Envision Motors of Milpitas. The Contracts Clerk will play a crucial role in facilitating the sale of vehicles by ensuring all documentation and legal paperwork related to vehicle purchases are accurately processed and compliant with dealership and regulatory standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience 2 years in a similar role within the automotive industry or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and CDK software for document processing.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Knowledge of legal requirements related to vehicle sales and financing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process legal documents related to vehicle sales transactions, including sales contracts, lease agreements, and financing paperwork.
Verify accuracy and completeness of all contract documents, ensuring they comply with dealership policies and legal regulations.
Collaborate with sales team members, finance managers, and customers to facilitate smooth and timely completion of contracts.
Review credit applications and assist in obtaining necessary financial approvals.
Maintain organized records of all contracts and related paperwork.
Provide assistance to customers regarding contract-related inquiries.
Coordinate with external parties such as banks and insurance companies as needed.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing vehicle sales and financing.
Stay updated on changes in dealership policies, legal requirements, and industry trends related to contract processing.
