About The Position

LCPtracker, Inc. is seeking an In-House Commercial Contracts Attorney with expertise in SaaS B2B/B2G. The company is a cloud-based software (SaaS) provider specializing in labor compliance for public works construction projects, with headquarters in Orange, CA, and offices in New Braunfels, TX, and Fenton, MI. LCPtracker assists government agencies and prime contractors in meeting Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage compliance requirements. The company has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work” in Orange County since 2017. The Contracts Attorney will support the Chief Legal Officer in various legal duties, focusing on the timely execution of customer contracts, contract analysis, risk assessment, and management of the contract management system. This role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients, implementation of best practices in contract review and negotiation, and support for RFP responses and legal documentation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of corporate and commercial contracts.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Capability and experience to work independently and with a team.
  • Outstanding references.
  • Licensed and in good standing as an attorney in the state of residence.

Nice To Haves

  • Negotiating experience preferred.
  • Experience in Employment Law a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Liaises with internal and external clients on a range of matters, with a strong focus on timely execution of customer contracts.
  • Analyzes and interprets contracts and provides thoughtful legal advice on potential risks and issues.
  • Assists with preparation of training materials and SOP’s.
  • Oversees the contract management system/databases utilized by the Legal team and assists with general legal files organization.
  • Management of internal legal templates.
  • Implements good practices in contract review, negotiation, and management.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to respond to RFP’s in a timely and organized fashion.
  • Researches, analyzes, and summarizes information from a variety of sources including other departments, government offices, websites, and hard copy files.
  • Works diligently to ensure that both our internal and external clients are satisfied.
  • Assists with other special projects and performs general legal and administrative duties as assigned.
