About The Position

A hybrid role responsible for administrative and MRO procurement support for the Horseheads site. This role is responsible for supporting the Horseheads site leader and operations team in a variety of administrative and MRO purchasing tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative support, purchasing, or MRO procurement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with ERP, purchasing, or inventory systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • associate degree or related coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to operations, maintenance, and management teams.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain correspondence, reports, schedules, and records.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, and communications.
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems.
  • Manage office supplies and administrative inventory.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting as required.
  • Source, purchase, and track MRO materials, equipment, and services.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery status.
  • Monitor open orders, expedite critical materials, and resolve supply issues.
  • Maintain vendor records and support vendor performance management.
  • Assist with contract and supplier administration.
