About The Position

Preston Companies is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to assist with their contract administration process. The role involves facilitating and coordinating the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process, meticulously tracking and monitoring each step. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, adaptable to changing urgencies, and capable of prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines. This position will support and optimize contracts and compliance management processes to minimize overall turnaround times, with opportunities to learn and assist in contract reviews and negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Support Contracts Manager
  • Control portions of the Contract Lifecycle Management process, including coordination, circulation of contracts and information, and documentation/tracking.
  • Send and receive contract communications internally with multiple departments and externally to lower-tiers.
  • Distribute and circulate contracts and contract information to departments such as payroll, operations, and dispatch.
  • Update and track information in various contract logs (e.g., All contracts log, Master Agreements logs).
  • Save correspondences and documents to appropriate locations.
  • Draft, coordinate, distribute, review, and negotiate lower-tier Master Agreements using existing templates.
  • Negotiate lower-tier one-time agreements as necessary.
  • Review contracts and create review summaries/cheat sheets.
  • Help develop and/or improve contract and compliance SOPs.
