About The Position

The Contracts Administrator III will ensure all contracts are executed both on the vendor and client side in a timely and accurate manner. The successful person will perform key quality reviews to reduce risk working in conjunction with other teams. Additionally, this role acts as a collaborative team lead resource and peer mentor for a geographically diverse team of contract drafters, and takes the lead on drafting and reviewing more complex agreements across a host of technology-related categories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-year college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience drafting and reviewing technology-related agreements (SaaS, software licensing, IT services).
  • Strong collaboration and coaching skills, with the ability to support and guide geographically dispersed team members.
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Fluent in English language.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex information.
  • Aptitude for technology and interest in learning/understanding systems & interpreting data.
  • Accustomed to data input at high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage high volumes and meeting deadlines.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at a time.
  • Customer aware/centric.
  • Excel knowledge (including pivot tables and v-lookups).
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Independently motivated.
  • Experience in how databases capture information.
  • Proven ability to work accurately with large data sets.

  • 7+ years of increasingly progressive contract drafting experience in a geographically diverse environment
  • Experience with Transportation and Warehousing in the technology space

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional resource and peer mentor for a geographically diverse team of contract drafters; assist in coordinating workflows, answering process or template-related questions, and sharing drafting best practices.
  • Draft and review complex agreements across a host of data center categories including transportation and warehousing, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), software licensing, and professional IT services.
  • Process contracts according to client policies.
  • Maintain an internal database with pertinent information, including legal documents.
  • Assist in preparation and revision of contracts that involve the purchase of sale of goods and services.
  • Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.
  • Track authorizations and correspondence, maintaining detailed and organized files.
  • Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
  • Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
  • Analyze and mitigate risk.
