As a Contracts Administrator II at PTI Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the aerospace industry by managing customer contracts and ensuring compliance while protecting the company's interests. You will take the lead in complex proposals and contract activities, collaborating closely with various departments such as Business Development, Finance, Engineering, and Quality. This position allows you to contribute directly to the company's success and achieve business objectives within a high-performance environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in contracts administration
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating commercial and government contracts
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret contract requirements and identify risks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in Oracle software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Adept at managing multiple contracts and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Customer-focused mindset combined with sound judgment
  • Ability to lead discussions on contract performance and drive continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer contracts and ensure compliance while protecting the company's interests
  • Take the lead in complex proposals and contract activities
  • Collaborate closely with various departments such as Business Development, Finance, Engineering, and Quality
  • Interpret medium to large OEM quotes
  • Independently administer contracts
  • Act as the primary contact for contract-related matters
  • Monitor performance
  • Prepare essential documentation
  • Facilitate negotiations to align with management guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction
  • Provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making
