The DHS’ Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS), Child Welfare is seeking candidates to fill the position of Contracts Administrator 2, reporting to the Unit Manager. This position is in Atlanta, Fulton County.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of contracting job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Contracts Administrator 1 (LEP030) or position equivalent.
  • Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with two years’ experience in a related field.
  • With at least one year’s experience working with computer systems for data entry and data review
  • Experience in working with diverse populations in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Develop effective working relationships and work well as part of a team to achieve organizational goals

  • Previous experience in workforce development and/or career counseling is preferred.
  • Previous case management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates implementation of a high volume of contracts for the provision of social, therapeutic, & behavioral health services.
  • Performs research, evaluation, and analysis for monitoring vendor performance for compliance of contracts.
  • Develops and implements contracting policies and procedures; recommends improvements to existing policy/procedure.
  • May serve as lead staff.
  • Provides technical assistance/training to assigned staff, external service providers and interdepartmental stakeholders.
  • Monitor and audit Provider contractual compliance.
