About The Position

Based out of the Grimsby office, the Contractor Sales (CTS) Project Administrator is a detail-oriented and customer service-driven professional who serves as the backbone of our CTS team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating CTS projects from the initial job setup stage through to fabrication and installation. As we strive to implement a Mini Contract Sales Model, this position is vital to eliminating bottlenecks within the sales-to-execution cycle. By serving as the execution lead and providing operational support to our teammates, you will protect valuable sales time, ensuring our Sales Representatives can focus exclusively on revenue-generating activities. This role provides high-level customer service to guarantee the seamless execution of projects through clear, timely communication with both internal and external partners. The successful candidate will forge strong relationships and build trust with customers by consistently demonstrating effective problem-solving, professionalism, integrity, and a passion for delivering excellent service.

Nice To Haves

  • General understanding of the construction industry, preferably within the rebar industry.
  • Minimum two (2) years of project coordination or project administration experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience using aSa software is an asset.
  • Proven problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, engineers, project managers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
  • Experience using AutoCAD to prepare designs and detailed bar lists is an asset.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM software is an asset.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field is an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and proactively develop technical industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all front-to-back project management responsibilities, including communicating order statuses, identifying changes, submitting shop drawings for approval, making necessary revisions, and ensuring products and services are delivered on time.
  • Work with the sales team to fully understand project scope, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, and all project-specific requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales and other technical departments for project setup following project award.
  • Coordinate with detailing teams, both internal and external, regarding project schedules and submission timelines.
  • Coordinate with Central Scheduling, production shops, and trucking to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with installation teams as required.
  • Coordinate with the Salit Invoicing Department to ensure accurate invoicing, complete product capture, and customer satisfaction with payment submissions.
  • Review and confirm technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Review shop drawings for accuracy and submit drawings to customers for approval.
  • Produce material lists and sales orders for fabrication.
  • Communicate project-specific information with general contractors, engineers, and project managers.
  • Receive and process inquiries from customers, contractors, and internal technical departments.
  • Perform all necessary customer service activities to ensure customer satisfaction and support internal teams in successful project execution.
