Founded in 1986, OnTrac has evolved into the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses, including five of the largest retailers in the U.S. The Contractor Network Development Manager builds and strengthens OnTrac’s contractor network by identifying prospective partners, developing qualified pipelines, and managing contracts that support business growth and operational needs. This role partners with internal stakeholders and prospective contractors to assess opportunities, advance qualified leads, and establish agreements aligned with company policies and business objectives. You will develop a scalable approach to contractor sourcing and lead management, using market research, industry databases—including Department of Transportation resources—and AI-enabled tools where appropriate. This includes identifying lead sources, establishing qualification criteria, and creating workflows to track prospects from initial outreach through evaluation and contracting. You will also oversee contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to support compliance, mitigate contractual risk, and maintain visibility throughout the contract lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Understanding of contract principles and terminology
  • Knowledge of standard office software and contract management technologies

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, customer contracts, NDAs, service agreements, licensing arrangements, and other business contracts.
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies; identify and mitigate contractual risks while providing clear guidance to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure contract terms align with business needs and objectives.
  • Maintain a centralized contract repository and manage contract lifecycle processes to support organization, accessibility, and visibility.
  • Develop and implement standardized templates, playbooks, and contract management best practices.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, proactively address issues, and support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal contract reporting.
