About The Position

The Contracted Licensed Social Worker (LSW) will provide part-time onsite behavioral health support services, including one-on-one therapy, assistance with clinical documentation and progress notes, and support with onboarding new clients into services. The LSW will work collaboratively with agency staff to ensure quality care, timely documentation, and compliance with applicable behavioral health and Medicaid standards. This position is structured as an independent contractor role and is not considered an employee position.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
  • Basic proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health, community mental health, youth services, or substance use services preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid documentation standards and behavioral health compliance preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual supportive counseling and therapeutic interventions to clients.
  • Assist clients with goal setting, coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal development.
  • Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed.
  • Monitor client progress and communicate clinical concerns appropriately.
  • Assist staff in developing, reviewing, and improving progress notes for quality and compliance.
  • Complete required documentation in accordance with agency policies and applicable Medicaid and behavioral health standards.
  • Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new clients into services.
  • Support intake and assessment processes as assigned.
  • Help gather and organize required client documentation.
  • Coordinate with agency staff to ensure continuity of care and smooth service transitions.
  • Attend required meetings, supervision sessions, and trainings as requested.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff regarding client needs and service delivery.
  • Provide support during crisis situations when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties related to behavioral health support services as assigned.
