Concordia University, Saint Paul, in partnership with Concordia Academy, is seeking qualified candidates to teach one PSEO section of DAT 105: Excel and Modern Technologies to high school students in Roseville, MN, during the Spring 2027 semester. Instructors are expected to demonstrate subject expertise while fostering an environment of active intellectual and creative engagement. The curriculum is provided by the Math and Computer Science Department at Concordia University, Saint Paul. Course Description: DAT 105: Excel and Modern Technologies - This undergraduate course explores essential technologies and software applications pivotal to the modern world. Students will develop proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling, and visualization, while also mastering key Office 365 applications such as Word and PowerPoint for professional communication and collaboration. Emphasis will be placed on efficient file storage and organization strategies, ensuring secure and systematic data management. The course will introduce students to graphical user interfaces and their significance in streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity within industrial settings. Additionally, students will gain exposure to current and emerging technologies that foster adaptability and technical fluency in the digital workspace. Practical, hands-on projects and case studies will simulate real-world scenarios, equipping students with skills relevant to contemporary demands.
