About The Position

Morrison Center is seeking a Contracted Case Manager for its Brewer, Maine office. This is a remote position that also requires hands-on, in-person engagement, and candidates must be located in Maine. The role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals through individualized case management and advocacy.

This is a temporary, four-month independent contractor engagement running July through October. The schedule is flexible, Monday through Friday, with travel for home and community visits in Maine. Compensation is $65 per billable hour. The contract does not constitute employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least one year of experience working with adults in human services.
• Relevant case management experience and satisfaction of applicable professional requirements and qualifications.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of professionalism.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Must be located in Maine.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PCPs, family systems, and the Evergreen system.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals.
• Develop and manage Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), assessments, and service goals.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with Department of Health and Human Services requirements.
• Conduct monthly home visits and maintain open communication with clients and families.
• Research and collaborate with service providers to ensure effective supports are in place.
• Serve as a trusted resource and advocate in the community.
