About The Position

The Contract Teacher provides instruction for select courses in the hiring department and performs other duties as assigned. The position pays a minimum of $152.10 for each classroom hour. Loma Linda University Health is a Seventh-day Adventist, faith- and values-based Christian institution. Requirements

High school diploma required.
Additional educational degree requirements vary depending on the program.
Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations.
Ability to communicate changes and instructions professionally, effectively, and positively.
Ability to read, write legibly, and speak English with professional quality.
Ability to use a computer, printer, and software necessary for the position, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively by telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments; organize and prioritize workload; and relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
Ability to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure.
Ability to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone and identify workplace sounds; and see adequately to read computer screens and required written documents.
