About The Position

The Contract Teacher provides instruction for select courses in the hiring department and performs other duties as assigned. The position pays a minimum of $152.10 for each classroom hour. Education and degree requirements beyond a high school diploma vary by program. License or certification requirements, if applicable, also vary by program.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Educational degree requirements beyond a high school diploma vary depending on the program.
• Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations.
• Able to communicate changes and instructions professionally, effectively, and positively.
• Able to read, write legibly, and speak English with professional quality.
• Able to use a computer, printer, and software necessary for the position, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Able to communicate effectively by telephone.
• Able to think critically, manage multiple assignments, and organize and prioritize workload.
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
• Able to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure.
• Able to distinguish colors as necessary, hear sufficiently for general conversation and workplace sounds, and see adequately to read computer screens and written documents.
