About The Position

We are seeking a Contract Support Specialist to support our ITS CEI team in Central Florida. Experience as a Contract Support Specialist for the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) and/or the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is highly desirable. This role involves exercising independent initiative to help relieve supervisors of clerical detail and assisting the Project Administrator in office-related duties. The specialist will also perform project-specific work under the general supervision of the Senior Project Engineer and staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
FDOT and/or CFX experience
Four (4) years construction project related experience
Ability to exercise independent judgement in planning work details and making technical decisions related to office aspects of the project
Ability to interpret project drawings and technical specifications, organize and summarize construction quantities, and perform computer data entry
Must have technical skill to maintain As-Built (record) drawings
CTQP Final Estimates Levels I & II

Responsibilities

Assisting the Project Administrator in office related duties (i.e., MAC, progress meetings, monthly and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing construction contract changes, data upload, submittal tracking, staff certifications, etc.)
Project specific work under the general supervision of the Senior Project Engineer and staff.
