About The Position

Inspects, monitors, and reviews all work performed by external contractors related to the authority's parking facilities and park-and-ride services to ensure compliance with MARTA's performance standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience performing or inspecting contractual services.
• Working knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft EXCEL, WORD, and OUTLOOK to prepare reports required.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations and percentages.
• Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License to operate MARTA vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and review work completed by outside contractors, such as parking facility maintenance, to ensure compliance with contract and MARTA performance standards.
• Evaluate contractors' performance and calculate deductions from the contractor's fee for poor or no performance. Processes pay applications for approval with proper documentation.
• Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports on contractor performance for review by the Parking Facilities Analyst. Identifies current or potential problems with contractors and notifies management. Maintains up-to-date records on contractor performance and notifies contractors in writing.
• Assists in developing various contract specifications and outlines the scope of work.
• Provides prospective contractors with site-specific details and conducts site tours.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
