About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Contract Services Assistant Manager for their Tice location at 5100 Tice Street in Fort Myers. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of experience in custodial, floor care or related trade.
Three (3) years of experience in supervising three (3) or more employees.
Valid Florida driver's license and a safe driving record.
Knowledge of proper operation and maintenance of floor care and custodial equipment including but not limited to: wringers, buffers, vacuums burnishes, extractors and polishers.
Knowledge of various types of floor systems and care and maintenance of each, including but not limited to: VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, concrete and wood.
Knowledge of safe use of chemicals used in floor care and custodial departments.
Ability to maintain detailed files and records.
Skill and knowledge to supervise, motivate and train employees.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with all groups they may come in contact with through the course of business, including crews.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push heavy cleaning equipment.
Able to use a cell phone, computer and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all custodial and floor care services both contracted and in house.
Training and assisting Custodial Supervisors.
Assisting in developing programs and timelines for custodial and floor care contracts.
