About The Position

Advantage SCI is seeking a Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support a government Program Security Officer (PSO). The CPSO will perform security specialist functions across various security disciplines, including personnel, physical, information, and training. This role involves reviewing and processing personnel security documentation, managing access control systems, and briefing/debriefing personnel for Sensitive Access Programs (SAP). The CPSO will also be responsible for preparing and submitting security documentation for facility and automated information system accreditation, conducting security inspections, and drafting/maintaining essential security documents like Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Security Classification Guides (SCGs). Additionally, the CPSO will implement a security education program tailored to supported programs. This position is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI and CI polygraph
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

Provide support to the government Program Security Officer (PSO).
Perform security specialist functions in all security disciplines: personnel, physical, information, and training.
Review and process PERSEC documentation, including SAP nomination paperwork.
Load accesses and documents into access management databases.
Brief and debrief personnel to/from SAP programs.
Review, verify, edit, draft, and submit security paperwork to accredit facilities and automated information systems (AIS) in accordance with applicable policies.
Conduct or support periodic security inspections of cleared facilities to ensure compliance with relevant security manuals and program-specific requirements.
Travel within the United States (CONUS plus Alaska and Hawaii) to conduct or support facility inspections.
Draft and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), Security Classification Guides (SCGs), and other essential security documents and records.
Implement a security education program for assigned personnel tailored to supported programs.
