About The Position

Alchemy is seeking qualified Practitioners and Early Practitioners with applied, real-world experience in Data engineering, analytics, science, and visualization to participate in a skills assessment validation engagement. This is a short-term, contract, remote engagement in which the practitioner will complete one or more practitioner-level skills assessments aligned to the Data content area, plus a brief post-assessment survey for each. This role does not involve teaching, instructional design, content creation, or ongoing advisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current professionals with applied, real-world experience related to one or more of the following knowledge areas and skills within the Data content area:
• Build data pipelines and analytics workflows using Databricks and Apache Spark
• Apply real-time stream processing patterns including time and state management
• Design effective data visualizations to surface trends, patterns, and insights
• Build scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Snowflake
• Develop interactive dashboards and analytical visualizations in Tableau Desktop
• Apply core data analytics skills including statistical analysis and data exploration
• Apply data science fundamentals including modeling, evaluation, and feature engineering
• Apply data engineering fundamentals including data modeling, database design, and ETL
• Write SQL queries against relational databases for data retrieval and manipulation
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis tasks including formulas, pivot tables, and charts
• Active practitioner with hands-on experience in one or more domains within the Data content area.
• Practical, working knowledge of how the concepts listed above are applied in real professional settings.

Responsibilities

• Complete a practitioner-level skills assessment used for validation and standard-setting purposes.
• Complete a short post-assessment survey providing feedback on the assessment experience.

Benefits

• $50 USD per assessment completed (flat fee)
• Payment is issued upon successful completion of each assessment and the corresponding post-assessment survey.
