About The Position

The Montana Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking a detail-driven professional to serve as a Contract Manager. This role is pivotal in supporting safe communities and improving outcomes for offenders and their families by overseeing contracts for the Community Corrections Facilities & Programs Bureau. The Contract Manager will ensure operations are effective, compliant, and aligned with state regulations, directly impacting facility performance, offender placement, and the quality of services delivered across Montana. Requirements

• Bachelor's in Business Administration or a related field
• Two Years experience in Human Services
• Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage community corrections contracts from start to finish.
• Coordinate initiatives across multiple divisions and respond to evolving business needs.
• Navigate contract amendments and resolve issues involving facilities, offenders, and families.
• Support offender placement decisions and manage length-of-stay considerations.
• Use communication and analytical skills to ensure integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Monitor contractual and facility compliance to ensure high-quality operations.
