About The Position

We are seeking a Contract Manager to play a key role in supporting our growing business. In this role, you will partner closely with internal teams, vendors, customers, and legal or procurement stakeholders to manage contracts end-to-end—ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or commercial management
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial risk, and compliance principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and document management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management or document tracking tools

Nice To Haves

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or coursework in law or regulatory compliance
  • Experience supporting contracts in infrastructure, transportation, ITS, or technology environments
  • Familiarity with public-sector, DOT, or government-funded contracts
  • Experience working with procurement, legal counsel, or compliance teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting support, review, execution, amendments, renewals, and closeout
  • Ensure contract terms align with business objectives, project requirements, and regulatory obligations
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation
  • Review contracts for compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify contractual risks and collaborate with internal teams to develop mitigation strategies
  • Track obligations, milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates to ensure compliance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters with vendors, customers, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with project managers, operations, finance, and procurement teams to support ongoing initiatives
  • Support negotiations by coordinating feedback, clarifying terms, and documenting agreed changes
  • Monitor contract value, pricing, and payment terms in coordination with finance
  • Review invoices and ensure billing aligns with contractual terms and approved scope
  • Support change orders, claims, and dispute resolution as needed
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local requirements relevant to company projects
  • Assist with audits, internal reviews, and reporting related to contract performance and compliance
  • Contribute to process improvements, templates, and contract management best practices
  • Support basic corporate activities, including insurance renewals, certificates, business licenses, and state corporation registrations
  • Identify, assess, and manage contractual and operational risks to support compliance and business objectives.
