Contract Endodontist One Day Per Week
About The Position
Nevada Dental Benefits is seeking a skilled and compassionate Contract Endodontist to provide specialty dental services at its Tropicana location in Las Vegas, Nevada. This independent contractor opportunity is for one day per week and may suit an experienced Endodontist seeking to supplement an existing practice or professional schedule. The established dental network provides access to patients needing specialty care, along with clinical and administrative support. The Endodontist will diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues, perform endodontic procedures, develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate care with referring general dentists, educate patients, and maintain clinical documentation while following applicable safety, infection-control, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited postgraduate specialty program in Endodontics.
- Active, unrestricted Nevada dental license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Professional liability insurance meeting contractual requirements.
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.
- Perform root canal therapy, retreatments, and other endodontic procedures within the scope of practice.
- Evaluate patients and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with referring general dentists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow applicable infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality specialty care.
