About The Position

The contract administrator is responsible for analyzing and negotiating contracts for leased properties and dispositions of major and complex lease transactions, managing insurance liabilities per location, and conducting cost analysis for the Liberty Tax Service Corporate Company Store business unit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or legal support.
  • Knowledge of contract law and contract lifecycle management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management software.
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 or more years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and amendments.
  • Negotiate for new leases, lease renewals, lease extensions, lease assignments, lease buyouts, lease proposals, letter of intent (LOI) & other contract agreements, as needed
  • Conducts site evaluations, negotiation terms and conditions, marketing and disposing of surplus space.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and project teams regarding contract terms.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, files, and databases.
  • Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates.
  • Assist with contract negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners.
  • Identify potential risks in contract language and recommend changes.
  • Track contract performance and ensuring obligations are met by all parties.
  • Prepare reports related to contract status, renewals, and compliance.
  • Support dispute resolution and contract modifications when necessary.
