The Contract Administrator IV – IT Purchasing Specialist supports the Bond Program by planning, administering, and managing a wide range of IT procurement activities. Working under the Director of Contracts, this role provides strategic purchasing recommendations, oversees procurement processes from solicitation through contract execution, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, District policies, and procurement regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate with project management teams, technology stakeholders, vendors, and public agencies to procure software, hardware, and IT services while maximizing purchasing efficiencies and ensuring timely contract administration. This position also monitors procurement activities, prepares reports, supports Board approval processes, and helps optimize IT purchasing strategies throughout the Bond Program.
