This role provides planning, strategic recommendations, administration, and reporting for a variety of IT purchasing needs in support of the LACCD Bond Program, working under the direction of the Director of Contracts. The position involves planning for IT-related purchasing needs, ensuring effective coordination with stakeholders, developing strategic recommendations for IT purchasing solutions, and maintaining compliance with legal requirements and LACCD policies. The administrator will manage the entire procurement process from solicitation document preparation to contract execution, support project management staff with solicitations, contract compliance, approvals, and purchase orders. Responsibilities also include monitoring IT purchasing contracts, purchase orders, and solicitations, reporting on their status, utilizing various district systems (SAP, Proliance, Trimble Unity Construct), coordinating with external organizations for beneficial contracts, and managing multiple concurrent procurement processes.
