About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Contract Administrative Assistant in San Diego, CA. This role will require being in office 4-5 days a week. This job will have a hybrid/remote schedule. Provide pre and post-award support for the Contracts team. Manage and complete incoming contractual work items to include creation of documents, reports, correspondence and entry of such items into various tracking spreadsheets. Interacting and proactively communicating with the Contracts team on a daily basis to help manage the workflow and daily activities. Ensure all contract items and forms are completed timely and returned to the appropriate Contracts team member for further action. Proactively manage and prioritize work within your queue to effectively execute on a daily basis. Update and maintain Contracts Listing and POCs. Maintain the Contracts team schedule in Outlook, ensuring that all contractual items with due dates are scheduled with reminders. General understanding of revenue recognition guidelines and accounting principles. Assume responsibility for the Contracts team’s electronic file organization and management. Support or manage assigned short-term and long-term projects on an on-going basis.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or minimum five years business experience.
  • General understanding of commercial and government contract management.
  • Strong knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills; must be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make timely and sound decisions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID, if travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases is required.
