About The Position

This role coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. It supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and communicates goals and objectives, and builds accountability for achieving results. The position also identifies and addresses improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning. It provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. The role ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience as a Walmart Supply Chain associate OR 1 year's experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment OR 2 or more years' of college in a Business or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Implements training programs at the facility level.
  • Participates as a member of the Functional/Divisional training network with other facilities to determine current best practices and share learnings.
  • Manages execution and quality of delivery across assigned change programs, incorporating change impact assessment results into program delivery plans, ensuring stakeholder alignment, communicating change initiatives, and leading program interventions.
  • Oversees, coordinates, and provides leadership to project teams supporting change initiatives, establishing and measuring change key performance indicators, ensuring consistency in messaging, delivering clear direction to end users, and managing site communications.
  • Acts as an active member of the facility leadership team, sharing knowledge, expertise, and coaching to develop others.
  • Leverages involvement in operations programs to drive change initiatives through modeling appropriate change management behaviors and engaging program teams in the change management process.
  • Coordinates with facility level and home office level associates and leadership to implement corporate initiatives.
  • Coordinates training programs, utilizing and maintaining training materials, leveraging associate expertise and resources to assist in the facilitation of training in the facility, and supporting Quality, Safety, and Human Resources teams in meeting training requirements.
  • Guides and executes the Leadership Development process across the facility, managing and coordinating the hourly associate training programs, assessing and calibrating training programs to determine training effectiveness, ensuring required training is tracked and scheduled, and working with Implementation Managers to ensure the overall training strategy is delivered.
  • Supports associate engagement by providing learning opportunities, building relationships, providing cross-training opportunities, consistently encouraging cross-functional teamwork, monitoring work plans, workloads, and associates' schedules to meet deadlines, resolving issues to avoid delays in project deliverables, and using systems to audit progress and identify concerns early.
  • Builds high-performing teams, embraces differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences, creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging, and creates opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform.
