Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager. In this role, you will support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. This will include mentoring and coaching teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also deploy and lead projects to improve and sustain local business performance. The work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Senatobia, MS area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in continuous improvement/quality.
  • Material Logistics: Knowledge in managing internal and external logistics, including Kanban systems, material picking, and coordination with suppliers.
  • Production Logistics: Experience in line balancing, waste elimination, standard work, and creating work instructions.
  • Quality Process Reengineering: Implementation of Quality Gates, improving First Pass Yield, reducing PPMs, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

Responsibilities

  • Supports the deployment of strategy and objectives for continuous improvement at a local organizational level.
  • Escalates to relevant stakeholders, as necessary, to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level and helps facilitate cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitates significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.
  • Provides training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business needs in collaboration with management at local level.
  • Tracks programs, initiatives, projects, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate progress and value, enabling decision-makers to allocate resources and recognize success.
  • Drives/supports systematic benchmarking of external processes and techniques, incorporating relevant learnings into local ABB practices.
