About The Position

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will be responsible for identifying and analyzing gaps in current processes to determine areas for improvement and implementing approved solutions to optimize workflows. This role involves developing, maintaining, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and visual management tools. The specialist will also provide support to other departments as needed, act as a mentor for new staff members through training and support, and ensure customer satisfaction through innovation and service excellence. Additionally, this position will support MS&S and Group Senior Leadership in defining behaviors and culture to align with AESSEAL’s Mission & Vision statements. The role requires adherence to all Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HESQ) standards and policies, and support in the development of new HESQ standards and processes, as well as demonstrating AES Group ethical standards. This position has no direct reports.

  • Competent in using AESSEAL Portal tools: CSDS, Drawing Search, eVE, and Quick Quote.
  • Ability to read part drawings.
  • Ability to utilize measuring tools.
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • In absence of formal education, 10 years of direct process management in a senior role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Higher education in Industrial Engineering or Business Management preferred.
  • SAP or other ERP experience preferred.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of mechanical seals or pumps preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and operate all on-site equipment, including providing CNC operation support as needed.
  • Identify and analyse gaps in current processes to determine areas for improvement.
  • Implement approved solutions to optimize workflows.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and visual management tools.
  • Assist in other departments on an as needed basis.
  • Act as a mentor for new staff members by conducting training sessions and support.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through innovation and service excellence.
  • Support the MS&S and Group Senior Leadership to define behaviours and culture to align with AESSEAL’s Mission & Vision statements.
  • Adhere to all HESQ standards and policies set out by Management.
  • Support Management in the development of new HESQ standards and processes.
  • Adhere and demonstrate AES Group ethical standards.
