About The Position

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will audit processes to identify opportunities for improvement, utilize analytical skills to review/create reports, make improvements, document processes, and drive change. You will collaborate and consult within a manufacturing cross-functional team environment to identify and implement process changes designed to improve performance and meet stated continuous improvement goals. You will organize, lead, and facilitate various continuous improvement project deliverables such as meetings and report outs, track performance, and implement performance standards. You will work independently to drive continuous improvement processes while also working well when involved in team projects.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with organizing and leading continuous improvement efforts preferred
  • Ability to communicate and work with cross functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding of standardization and process mapping
  • Experience using data analysis to drive process improvements
  • Experience/knowledge regarding the concepts of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Solid computer skills, MS EXCEL, Visio, MS Word, MS PPT.
  • Ability to learn, execute and train a variety of lean tools and skills.
