About The Position

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join its team in Duluth, Georgia. The role supports the Continuous Improvement Department by training internal staff on World Class Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs adapted to the office environment. The specialist coordinates and leads training sessions with Continuous Improvement Champions, coaches project teams, and partners with the Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Departments at WEG’s global headquarters. The specialist works with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and drive process improvement initiatives, analyze business problems, lead Kaizen events and WMS Office projects, and build continuous improvement capabilities across the organization. The role also coaches process owners and stakeholders in applying Lean principles and aligning improvement outcomes with company goals.

Requirements

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Knowledge of defining and solving problems using quality tools and methodologies, including Ishikawa diagrams, 5 Whys, 5W2H, PDCA, and DMAIC.
Ability to drive process improvements using Lean tools and methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, and Kaizen.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Project management experience.
Electrical, mechanical, or technical background.

Responsibilities

Work with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and drive process improvement initiatives that increase process efficiencies.
Apply knowledge of customers, products, and processes to analyze business problems and determine appropriate methodologies for resolving issues.
Partner with WEG’s global Continuous Improvement Department to learn and use WMS Office, an internal tool based on the technical and managerial pillars of World Class Manufacturing.
Lead Kaizen events and WMS Office projects as assigned by the Continuous Improvement Manager.
Facilitate training on WMS Office and Lean Six Sigma tools to promote continuous improvement capabilities across the organization.
Coach process owners and key stakeholders in applying Lean principles and aligning problem-solving and improvement project outcomes with company goals.
