About The Position

This role requires full time travel to various locations with the Airfoils segment. Travel could include Dover, NJ, Morristown TN, Whitehall, MI and Acuna Mexico. The Continuous Improvement Leader acts as an improvement agent, providing guidance and contributing substantively to the implementation of solutions. They listen well to ensure the right interventions occur and maintain focus as an internal partner. This role also involves sustainability support, understanding plant and enterprise-level strategy, prioritizing projects, and creating follow-up plans with accountability for adoption and independent implementation. As an educational implementer, they conduct planned events and respond to operational needs to create efficiencies that support strategies, managing projects and events efficiently under time pressure. They possess strong business acumen, creating compelling business cases and communicating the 'why' behind efforts, measuring success based on business performance. The role requires analysis and synthesis, seeking to understand and determine root causes with input from others, and translating observations into actionable insights. They influence others without direct authority, providing data-driven justification and appreciating the use of others' resources. As a coach, they help others grow their capability, motivated by teaching and improvement. They demonstrate creativity and innovation by challenging the status quo, networking internally, and offering ideas based on feedback. They possess a strategic perspective, driven to improve the plant and the business, prioritizing based on hoshin and collaboration, identifying areas of greatest potential return, and adding value at the decision-making level. Job Responsibilities include providing support for effective and efficient implementation of HBS to employees and managers, assessing and diagnosing problems from a process, quality, and cultural/people perspective, designing and prioritizing development plans and metrics for closing gaps, teaching and coaching during execution to foster a self-sufficient continuous improvement culture, and working on HBS projects to increase productivity, capacity, and yield.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 year's experience in program management and training
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the business for effective and efficient implementation of HBS to employees and managers.
• Assess and diagnose problems from a process, quality, and cultural/people perspective.
• Design and prioritize the development plan and metrics for closing the gap of current and target business change.
• Teach and coach during execution of plan to help create a self-sufficient and continuous improvement culture.
• Work on HBS projects to increase productivity, capacity, and yield.
