This role requires full time travel to various locations with the Airfoils segment. Travel could include Dover, NJ, Morristown TN, Whitehall, MI and Acuna Mexico. The Continuous Improvement Leader acts as an improvement agent, providing guidance and contributing substantively to the implementation of solutions. They listen well to ensure the right interventions occur and maintain focus as an internal partner. This role also involves sustainability support, understanding plant and enterprise-level strategy, prioritizing projects, and creating follow-up plans with accountability for adoption and independent implementation. They possess strong business acumen, creating compelling business cases and communicating the 'why' behind efforts, measuring success based on business performance. Job Responsibilities include providing support for effective and efficient implementation of HBS to employees and managers, assessing and diagnosing problems from a process, quality, and cultural/people perspective, designing and prioritizing development plans and metrics for closing gaps, teaching and coaching during execution to foster a self-sufficient continuous improvement culture, and working on HBS projects to increase productivity, capacity, and yield.
