About The Position

The Continuous Improvement Leader leads the Intertape Performance System (IPS) and drives operational excellence across the site through employee engagement. The role develops and integrates continuous improvement methodologies, aligns site activities with corporate strategies, and helps sustain progress as the site adopts these methods. The position works with site leadership, engineering teams, project sponsors, process owners, and the corporate IPS CI Pillar Team to advance manufacturing performance and achieve strategic goals.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
At least 5 years of successful continuous improvement experience in manufacturing.
Demonstrated project management and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Experience deploying 5S, Visual Communication, Value-Stream Mapping, problem-solving tools, or similar methods.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated engineering background solving complex problems and process issues.
Excellent project management, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to influence and challenge an organization and set and achieve breakthrough goals.
Understanding of financial and other business measurements and ability to apply them effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to the target audience.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related field.
Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma training.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with site leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives that can deliver step-change improvements.
Support project sponsors and process owners in executing continuous improvement projects and assist teams with implementing methods aligned with site operating goals.
Provide site leadership for continuous improvement across organizational areas and link activities to the value stream.
Establish mechanisms to sustain progress and incorporate corporate learnings and new methods into the site's IPS.
Coordinate with the Corporate IPS CI Pillar Team to align continuous improvement activities with corporate strategies, plans, and objectives.
Lead assigned high-impact initiatives using continuous improvement principles, a value-stream approach, and the voice of the customer as appropriate.
Support effective site communication and change management for initiatives.
Work with site and corporate engineering teams to drive process improvements that address daily manufacturing needs and strategic goals.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
