This position reports to: Front End Operations and Order Management Leader In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials/Supply Chain Management
  • 8+ years relevant work experience work on process efficiencies or project improvements
  • Advanced knowledge of integrated ERP systems, specifically SAP
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Clear communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Power BI & Excel

Responsibilities

  • Supports the deployment of strategy and objectives for continuous improvement at a local organizational level.
  • Escalates to relevant stakeholders, as necessary, to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level and helps facilitate cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensures the continuous improvement approach and strategy deployed at local ABB unit level is aligned with the global strategy.
  • Facilitates significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.
  • Promotes awareness and commitment regarding continuous improvement at local management level.
  • Promotes and implements improvement programs and projects within their own area of responsibility, with a hands-on (Gemba) and problem-solving approach.
  • Providing training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business needs in collaboration with management at local level.
